Charlie Todd causes bizarre, hilarious, and unexpected public scenes: Seventy synchronized dancers in storefront windows, "ghostbusters" running through the New York Public Library, and the annual no-pants subway ride. At TEDxBloomington he shows how his group, Improv Everywhere, uses these scenes to bring people together.
Outside of Santa Claus, Charlie Todd has one of the best jobs in the world, that of bringing unexpected moments of glee to the masses. From his first experiment, the No Pants Subway ride to recent hi jinks such as the Best Buy invasion, Todd has found that adults shouldn’t need any more excuse to play than kids, especially when it’s all in good fun.
