Rangers scored two goals in two minutes to beat Aberdeen 2-1 and put more pressure on defending champion Celtic in the Scottish Premier League title race. After both teams had a player sent off in the first half, an own goal by Aberdeen's Richard Foster in the 66th and a 69th-minute header by Kenny Miller put Rangers in control at Ibrox Park. Michael Paton replied for Aberdeen in the 77th. Aberdeen was reduced to 10 men after only 18 minutes when Charlie Mulgrew was sent off for allegedly head-butting Kyle Lafferty. |
