On the eve of the 51st anniversary of the Tibetan National Uprising Day against Communist Chinas brutal occupation of Tibet in 1959, the Chinese Embassy in New Delhi fenced with layers of barbed wires and blanket of security personnel saw a vigorous protest by Tibetans. At around 11:15 am today in front of the Chinese Embassy, 32 protesters shouted and tossed in air printed slogans, "Long Live His Holiness the Dalai Lama", "China out of Tibet" and "Independence for Tibet" before being arrested by police and taken into custody. Several protesters chained themselves around poles and trees in front of the Embassy.
