On March 10, 2010 at 11 a.m. students will meet in the Student Services Plaza to rally against the budget cuts in the California State University System.
During the past year, students have been subjected to the systematic destruction of their educational system. Political leaders have for far too long, continued to ignore the needs of students and have failed to prioritize public higher education. As a result of their inaction and inattention, academic quality, student access, and student affordability have all been jeopardized.
The Action Rally for Chico State is designed to mobilize the student body and the entire university community to speak with one voice in resistance, disapproval, and refusal to the violations of the right and promise of higher education.

The event took place on Sunday August 29th in Westwood California. I was happy to have been there, supporting the Pakistani Community who is in desperate need of medical and financial assistance. These events are definitely not limited to a certain ethnic group, these are disasters, and these are people like you and me who need of our help.
