The illegal immigration issue is a workers rights issue. Jobs in Mexico has been decimated because of our trade policies. NAFTA allowed big corporations to go in and pay Mexicans slave wages and unions were busted over and over in Mexico. This destroyed their economy and replaced it with huge factories.

Then, the factories left for China so they can take advantage of paying people even LESS than Mexico's pitiful wages. That left the Mexican workers with nothing and they might as well head north to the U.S.

Mexican immigrants deserve better after they made so many of us rich. They deserve amnesty at the very least and as workers, their struggle is our struggle and we should be standing in solidarity with them for their rights. Si Se Puede!!!
