Mount Sibayak is a small stratovolcano with a height of 2094 meters overlooking the town of Berastagi North Sumatra, Indonesia. Although the last eruption occurred in 1600, the geothermal activity in the form of steam pressure and hot springs are still high in the vicinity of this volcano. Steam flow produces sulfur crystal ever mined on a small scale in the past.

Sibayak is meant is relatively easy to climb and be a tourist attraction that has existed since the Dutch colonial era.

Gunung Sibayak merupakan Stratovolcano kecil dengan tinggi 2094 meter yang menghadap ke kota Berastagi di Sumatra Utara, Indonesia. Meskipun Letusan terakhir terjadi tahun 1600, aktifitas panas bumi berupa tekanan uap panas dan sumber air panas masih tetap tinggi di sekitar gunung berapi ini. Aliran uap ini menghasilkan kristal belerang yang pernah ditambang dalam skala kecil di masa lalu.

Sibayak adalah artinya adalah relatif mudah untuk memanjat dan menjadi daya tarik wisata yang sudah ada sejak zaman kolonial Belanda.
