김진오 ( Jin-Oh, Kim ) 로봇학자 Robot Scientist 로봇을 포함하는 새로운 21C 인간사회로의 발전 전략과 방법을 연구하고 주도하는 세계적인 로봇 리더이며 창조적 파괴자이다. 1999년부터 우리나라 정부의 로봇기획에 앞장서 왔으며, 2003년 정부의 로봇기획단장으로서 로봇산업발전방안의 밑그림을 만드는 일을 주도하고, 2004년부터 2008년까지 차세대성장동력 지능형로봇산업 실무위원장으로서 국가 지능형로봇 사업을 총괄 조정하는 일을 했다. 또 2006년부터 로봇산업정책포럼 초대의장으로서 세계최초의 로봇산업특별법을 만드는 일에 참여했으며 2007년부터 세계최초의 로봇기술자격시험을 만들고 리드하는 운영위원장을 맡아오고 있다. 그리고 광운대학교에서 2006년부터 세계최초의 로봇 게임 단 로빛을 지도해 왔으며 2010년 3월에 시작된 최초의 광운대 로봇학부의 설립을 주도했다. 2007년에 대한민국 로봇유공자 최고의 상인 국무총리표창을 받았으며 2008년에는 로봇 계의 노벨상으로 불리는 죠셉 엥겔버거상 리더쉽 부문의 세계 19번째 수상자가 되었다. 그의 로봇에 대한 열정은 지금 이순간에도 switch on 상태이다. He is a global leader of robot and a creative destroyer who researches 21C Development strategy of human society and methods including the new robots and leads it. Since 1999, the Korean government has been at the forefront of robot planning, he led creating a sketch of robot industry plan as a captain of government planning the robot. He did a job which adjusted the business of intelligent robot industry as a national chairman of next generation growth electric power from 2004 to 2008. Since 2006, he has also been joining to make a special law creating the world's first industrial robot as an invitation chairperson of robot industrial policy forum. Since 2007, he has been undertaking a chairperson of making the world's first a qualifying examination of robot technology and leading it. He has been teaching the world's robot game club "Robit" at Kwangwoon university and led the establishment of the first Faculty of Kwangwoon robot which started on March ,2010 . He recieved a Prime Minister commendation which is the best robot man of merit award in Korea in 2007. Joseph Engel called the Nobel Prize in robot field became 19th winner in 2008.
